Coromandel - Colville ward. Please provide the address and the owner
of each cell tower.
Council does not hold a map or list of the locations of cell sites. A
search of our system provides the below consent numbers relating to
telecommunication facilities within Coromandel-Colville area. Details of
the applications can be found via the consent tracker tool on our website.
o RMA/2012/114
o RMA/2019/69
o RMA/2022/368
o RMA/2015/113
o RMA/2023/224
o RMA/2008/318
o RMA/2010/28
o RMA/2010/95
2. As Council has in the past been informed of plans for cell sites,
please tell me what further cell sites are proposed in the Coromandel
- Colville ward.
Mobile network operators are responsible for when and where new cell sites
are required so, please contact Spark, One NZ and 2degrees directly.
There is a website called GIS Geek which details the locations of cell
sites and other radio equipment. It is free to register to have access to
this information. All companies with registered radio spectrum are listed
on the website. I have taken a screen shot of the Coromandel Peninsula
showing the cell sites from various companies – see below.
