Independent Police Complaints Authority

Amanda Murtagh made this Official Information request to Chris Hipkins

Response to this request is long overdue. By law Chris Hipkins should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.

From: Amanda Murtagh

Dear Chris Hipkins,

Who is responsible for holding the Independent Police Complaints Authority to account when they fail to act within the Independent Police Conduct Authority Act 1988?

Where is this transparently explained to New Zealanders?

Yours faithfully,

Amanda Murtagh

Dear C Hipkins (MIN),

This does not answer my question.

Who is responsible for holding the Independent Police Complaints Authority to account when they fail to act within the Independent Police Conduct Authority Act 1988?

Where is this transparently explained to New Zealanders?
