Dear Department of Internal Affairs,

Thank you for your recent reply, reference OIA 23/24-0018. I see within your list, you did not include Winston Churchill Memorial Trust’s Board.

May I ask what about the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust’s Board (reference number OIA 2223-0695), has their process been completed? I have not see any information public available regarding the new trustee been appointed. Is this consider as a mistake in your reply- reference OIA 23/24-0018 or it means something else. I did noted in your previous response you wrote, "Te Tari Taiwhenua expects the appointment process to be completed before 30 June 2023" so it is possible the process has been completed, but I just didn't see it anywhere.

Thank you for your e-mail of 18 July 2023 regarding the appointments to
the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust (the Trust).

 

I can advise that the appointment round for the Trust has been completed
and this is why this appointment round was not within the scope of your
most recent Official Information Act request.

 

The appointment outcomes for the Trust have not yet been posted to the
statutory bodies webpage [1]Appointments to Statutory Bodies -
dia.govt.nz, but this will happen in the near future. There is usually a
small time gap between the conclusion of an appointment round and updating
the website.
