On behalf of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment I
acknowledge your email of 12 July 2023 requesting under the Official
Information Act 1982 (the Act), the following:

 

‘Can you please disclose the total number of EOI's have been received
after 12 Oct 2022 that went into the ballot of parent category visa which
has it's first draw scheduled in August 2023. Only the application which
are currently in the ballot. Please include the number of persons.

 

Please share the process of conducting selection from ballot and how much
time Immigration will take to send the Invitation to Apply from the date
of selection.

 

Also, please share the parents category EOI's selection date from ballot
every quarter until the end of December 2024.’

 

Your request is being processed in accordance with the Act and a response
will be sent to you in due course.
