Public text of TPPA
Trevor Mills made this Official Information request to Minister of Trade
The request was refused by Minister of Trade.
From: Trevor Mills
Dear Minister of Trade,
Please have the courtesy to explain why there needs to be so much secrecy behind any involvement with the TPPA?
Why is it that our democratic values, rights and freedoms are being ignored by John Key and the National Party as a whole?
Your job, along with John Key and all politicians, is to represent New Zealand and the people of New Zealand while you are in service to the public, yet I only see failure of a party bent on misrepresentation. This means you have breached your Oath of Allegiance, as has John Key and all other National party government politicians.
Why has this National party government failed in its tasks, promises and representation. Why is this failed government intent on the TPPA, without transparency? Why is this government even bothering to do anything other than destroy, just as Robert Muldoon and his party did?
Please have the respectful consideration of releasing text of the TPPA publicly to those you are representing, or stand down from Minister of Trade.
Yours faithfully,
Trevor Mills.

On behalf of Hon Tim Groser, thank you for your email. Your
correspondence has been noted and will be recorded.
All correspondence, including email, is routed through our mail tracking
process. Although e-mail increases the speed of delivery, the
“behind-the-scenes” efforts of the Minister’s staff in responding to
mail cannot always provide the kind of speedy response users of email may
anticipate.
While the Minister considers all correspondence to be important, if it is
obvious that you are writing only to express a personal view your opinion
will be noted but a response beyond this acknowledgement may not be sent.
Thank you again.
