Dear Victoria University of Wellington,

This is an information request per the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) regarding the following:

1. For the academic years of 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022, please provide the following data sets:
(a) Total number of students enrolled in first-year law courses at VUW;
(b) Total number of Māori students enrolled in first-year law courses at VUW;
(c) Total number of students admitted to second-year law at VUW;
(d) Total number of Māori students admitted to second-year law at VUW;
(e) Total number of law graduates; and
(f) Total number of Māori law graduates.

Relating to the above request, per s 12(1) of the Act, I am a New Zealand citizen. Upon request, confirmation of the same can be provided by email only. Additionally, per s 15A of the Act, should this request warrant a time extension, notice of the same must be provided to myself within 20 working days after the day on which this request was received.

Lastly, this request is made through the site <FYI.org.nz> whereby all correspondence will be automatically forwarded to me through the site and published online immediately. I require, where appropriate, all electronic copies of all documents in your response.
