Te Whatu Ora Salary Bandings - Vacant & Filled
Jeeves Ponzi made this Official Information request to Health New Zealand
The request was refused by Health New Zealand.
From: Jeeves Ponzi
Dear Health New Zealand,
Please provide a table of all Te Whatu Ora Non-Clinical positions showing details within the following columns (listed below):
A) For ALL non-clinical positions advertised OR filled since JANUARY 1 2023.
AND / OR:
B) For ALL non-clinical positions featured in the Te Whatu Ora Organisational Structure, advertised or otherwise, filled or vacant, realised or planned.
WHERE:
C) Any amount greater than $ 99,000 falls anywhere within the salary banding.
1)Directorate
2)Position Title
3)Salary band ($) Minimum
4)Salary band ($)Maximum
5)Vacant? (as of 1 April ) Yes/No
6) If filled, What is the salary currently being paid (Rounded down to the nearest $10k)
7) If the position is primarily or significantly based within the Te Whatu Ora head office/non-district (Yes / No )
While I appreciate that Salary bands are sometimes considered sensitive in nature, or indeed private, the Ombudsman has made it abundantly clear in the recent paper "Ready or Not?" (2022) and elsewhere, that taxpayer funded salaries in Crown entities are not granted a confidentiality per se. Indeed the concept of Open & Transparent Government demands otherwise.
Furthermore, where an employee holds a unique, or identifiable position, it is understandable that they may feel personally exposed to some degree by this request. With this in mind, the request includes the facility to round down their salary to the nearest $10k iteration.
Yours faithfully,
J. Ponzi (nom de plume)
I wish to remain anonymous, however I can provide proof of Full Residency.
