From: Rachel
Dear Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment,
I am a New Zealand Permanent Resident and can provide my passport on request.
I would please like to know the process to request priority allocation for 2021 Residency based on an applicant's or their family's personal circumstances as mentioned by Border and visa operations general manager Nicola Hogg in a recent interview with RNZ.
Please see the below link and quote:
https://www.1news.co.nz/2022/11/09/docto...
"At this point, when Mr xxxxx' application has moved to the assessment stage, he could request priority allocation based on his or his family's personal circumstances."
Yours faithfully,
Rachel

Dear Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment,
Thank you for your response.
Respectfully it does not answer my request for information. The request submitted asked about escalations of 2021 Residency visas and the escalation process that Nicola Hogg described in her interview.
The link you provided references escalations for Employment Visas only.
Please provide a full response outlining the process that Border and visa operations general manager Nicola Hogg was referencing.
Yours faithfully,
Rachel

under the 2021 Residence Visa category, are to be made via the Employment
Visa Escalation process.
The Radio New Zealand article contained a sentence stating that ‘..we are
currently looking at options to see how we might give priority to 2021
Resident Visa applications involving separate families…’ and an item
