Dear University of Otago,

I am requesting information related to high school decile of entrants into MBChB for this year (2022). Of those entering into the MBChB programme in 2022 (via any pathway), of which you have the data on which high school they attended, can you please provide a summary by decile of the number of entrants within each degree.

I understand the university chooses not to identify information below 5 individuals due to the risk of people being identified, so feel free to use '<5' for any deciles that have fewer than 5 entrants into the MBChB program.

An example for your reference:
'MBChB entrants in 2022:
Decile 1 – A
Decile 2 – B
Decile 3 – C
Decile 4 – D
Decile 5 – E
Decile 6 – F
Decile 7 – G
Decile 8 – H
Decile 9 – I
Decile 10 – I
No high school data – J'

Are you also able to provide data on which former high schools had the most entrants into the program in 2022. Excluding high schools with fewer than 5 entrants.

An example for your reference:
'High school of MBChB 2022 entrants:
High School 1 – A
High School 2 – B
High School 3 – C
High School 4 – D
High School 5 – E
All other high schools – <5'
