We refer to your two Official Information Act requests dated 15 September
2022. We note that both of these emails request the same information so
for efficiency we will be treating them as one request.

Would it be possible to please clarify the information you are after?

 1. In all of your questions, you are requesting the information for 2019
- 2021. Do you mean entering the BRT programme in 2019 - 2021, or
applying in 2019 - 2021 for 2020 - 2022 entry to the BRT programme?

We will wait to hear back from your before we continue to process your
request.

Ngā mihi

I refer to your two information requests dated 15 September 2022 (clarified on 21 September and 25 September 2022) made under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act). You have requested information in relation to the University of Otago's Bachelor of Radiation Therapy (BRT) programme. As noted to you in our email of 21 September 2022, as both of your requests ask for the same information we have combined the two requests together.

The Act requires that we advise you of our decision on your request no later than 20 working days after the date your request was clarified. Unfortunately it will not be possible to meet that time limit. We are therefore writing to notify you, pursuant to section 15A of the Act, of a short extension of time to make our decision in respect of your request, by a further five working days - to Thursday 27 October 2022.

This extension is necessary to allow for consultations necessary to make a decision on your request. We apologise for the delay and thank you for your patience. We will provide the information sooner if possible.

If you are not satisfied with our extension of time, you have the right to make a complaint to the Ombudsman under section 28(3) of the Act. However, we would welcome the opportunity to discuss any concerns with you first.

Ngā mihi
