As discussed last week, Crown Law has received the below request from The Magic Roast for information under the Official Information Act. Insofar as the request relates to the 2013/2014 year, we are transferring that part of this request to your agency pursuant to s 14(b)(ii) of the Official Information Act 1982, on the basis that the information to which the request relates is held by the Ministry of Justice.

We will respond to The Magic Roast separately on the 2012/2013 year and the other question they have raised.

I refer to your email of 19 September 2014 requesting, under the Official Information Act 1982:
1) a breakdown of the amount spent on coffee for staff consumption for the 2012/2013 and 2013/2014 years
2) the supplier of the coffee for staff consumption
3) the type of coffee supplied

The responses below relate to the 2012/2013 financial year. As you are aware, insofar as your request relates to the 2013/2014 year, it has been transferred to the Ministry of Justice for response.

1) Instant coffee $1,900.33/Plunger Coffee $8,385.01
2) Office Max - Instant coffee/Celcius Coffee – Plunger Coffee
3) Instant and Plunger
4) No coffee machines on site

In relation to paragraph 5) Crown Law has not done an engagement survey since 2012. The 2012 engagement index was 70.8.
