Dear Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand,
I Omosebi Idowu Simeon hereby apply for registration with Teachers Council Of Aotearoa, New Zealand.I am a Nigerian.I hold Nigeria Certificate in Education NCE and a Bachelor's degree in Education B Ed in social studies education.I have twenty one years experience in teaching in secondary school.I am the acting Head of Department (Humanities) at Ujilogun High School,Ilueju-Ijan Ekiti, Nigeria at present.
Sir, I am also a certified member of Teachers Registration Council Of Nigeria.
I Will be grateful if my application is favourably considered.

Kia ora Omosebi, 

Thank you for your email. 

You would need to check if your qualification appears on the pre-approval
list first , if not you would need to apply for an International
Qualification assessment(IQA) to have your qualification evaluated for use
in NZ.

Your IQA report has to show your qualification is level 7 or above and is
comparable to a NZ ITE qualification to be eligible to apply for
registration.

You will then need to self create an ESL and use it to log in to Hapori
matatū(https://haporimatatu.teachingcouncil.nz/s/) to submit an online
application. Please note that you will need to get registered and holding
a valid practising certificate to teach lawfully in NZ.
