Is your child vaccinated?
Erika Whittome made this Official Information request to Jacinda Ardern
Response to this request is long overdue. By law Jacinda Ardern should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.
From: Erika Whittome
Dear Jacinda Ardern,
Is your child vaccinated?
There appears to be an advertising campaign on Mediaworks radio stations and TV stations which I can only assume is from the government.
Therefore, I would like to know if you have followed this directive for your own child.
Yours faithfully,
Erika Whittome

Dear J Ardern (MIN),
So in an official capacity, and as a citizen of this country, why has my child been asked for her vaccination status by agencies of this government? Eg Sport New Zealand? New Zealand Rugby? Netball New Zealand? These government funded agencies have been requesting vaccination details of my child, and they are not health practitioners either.
Yours sincerely,
Erika Whittome

Dear C Hipkins (MIN),
The question in my OIA remains unanswered.
What is of further concern from you, Minister, is that there is no legislation to support your statement in your response: “Organizations can mandate vaccines…”
As an elected member of parliament, you are bound by New Zealand Bill Of Rights Act 1990, and your statement breaches section 11 and section 15 of this act.
The orders under the COVID 19 Public health response act 2021 refer to 10 distinct groups of people. Sports groups, music groups, dance groups, art groups etc are not listed in those ten categories . This act also does not say anything about organizations can mandate vaccines.
Where’d you get your information from, huh?
Yours sincerely,
Erika Whittome
