We refer to your request for information below.

Studying for free at Toi Ohomai:

There are five options available for students to study free at Toi Ohomai:

 1. TTAF
 2. Fees free for first time tertiary students
 3. Toi Ohomai free courses
 4. Youth Guarantee
 5. Scholarships including MPTT

Please see [1]https://www.toiohomai.ac.nz/study/fees-f... for
frequently asked questions about the five options.  Note: fees free
courses are for domestic students only; and each have their own
eligibility criteria.

Which courses are offered for free; or free under Targeted Training and
Apprenticeship Fund; and on which campus?:

Please see [2]https://www.toiohomai.ac.nz/study/free-c... for a full
list of free courses currently offered at Toi Ohomai; and
[3]https://www.toiohomai.ac.nz/study/ttaf-f... for a full list
of TTAF funded courses currently offered at Toi Ohomai.  When you click on
an individual course, you will see the Toi Ohomai campus where the course
is being offered.

Some courses say "free" however when the online option is selected, it
comes up with a fee.  Please explain your fee structure and the reason
behind it? Are you charging the fee or is eCampus?:

A number of tertiary education institutions (TEI’s) have entered an
Agreement with eCampus which allows the TEI to offer eCampus courses.
These courses are taught entirely online and any fees are set by eCampus.
For some of these eCampus programmes, the TEI may also deliver a
face-to-face version and in this case the fees are set by the TEI  e.g.
Toi Ohomai offers the [4]New Zealand Certificate in Adult and Tertiary
Teaching (Level 5) at its Rotorua campus, face-to-face, fees free (for
domestic students); and this is also available online (for a fee of $2,380
– which is eCampus’ fee).
