Would like to know how MOH determines how many PGY1 positions are required in a year for the ACE programme, as the number keeps varying from year to year?
Are the numbers supplied by individual DHBs? And what are the factors used to determine the number?

DHB Shared Services was very helpful to provide the figures/statistics as requested. The no. of PGY1 positions required in a year is determined by respective DHBs. Need to follow up with each DHBs to understand their policy.
