Summary of LAW298 Oral Assessment Grade Distribution Online/Offline

Amanda Cohen made this Official Information request to University of Auckland

This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Amanda Cohen to read a recent response and update the status.

From: Amanda Cohen

Dear University of Auckland,

LAW 298 commenced a 15% Oral Assessment on Tuesday August 17th, where students were required to make oral submissions in person. Approximately 100 students made submissions that day.

That night, the Prime Minister announced New Zealand would be moving to Alert Level 4. The LAW298 staff informed students that all subsequent assessments would be conducted online. The deadline for online submissions was made September 17th.

First, I request a breakdown of marks (A+, A, A- etc) for students who submitted their LAW298 Oral Assessment in person on Tuesday August 17th, including the mean and median marks for this category, and the number of students in this category.

Second, I separately request a breakdown of marks (A+, A, A- etc) for students who submitted their LAW298 Oral Assessment online on or after Wednesday August 18th, including the mean and median marks for this category, and the number of students in this category.

Yours faithfully,

Amanda Cohen
