Dear Rebecca Ewert, can you please confirm whether the GPA data provided for both successful and unsuccessful MAPAS applicants into the MBChB program is based on the core GPA or the GPA based on all papers during the year of application

From: Landon Watt
University of Auckland
Dear Cassanova M,
The University’s responses to OIA requests about MBChB admissions report
GPA as it is calculated for MBChB admissions purposes. Accordingly, for
admissions via the First Year pathway, GPA will be reported as core GPA.
However, for 2021 admissions, final grades for CHEM 110, BIOSCI 107 and
POPLHLTH 111 in 2020 were generated as a composite grade with 40% of the
CS9 grade and 60% of the CST (Clinical Selection Test). As your request
related to 2021 MBChB admissions, you were provided with statistics for
the core GPA, calculated using composite grades for CHEM 110, BIOSCI 107
and POPHLTH 111.
