Dear Mr Mills

 

Thank you for your request of 29 March 2021 for the following information
under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act):

 

“…a detailed list of home ownership assistance programs, i.e. Family
Benefit capitalization, Housing Corp loans, Maori Affairs loans that were
available to individuals and families from 1945 (after WWII) to 1992 (when
they were all abolished)”

 

You can expect to be notified of the decision on your request by 29 April
2021, being 20 working days after the day on which the request was
received in accordance with section 15(1) of the Act. If an extension of
time is required to make a decision you will be notified prior to this
date in accordance with section 15A of the Act.

 

We may also contact you if further clarification or refinement of your
request is required to enable a decision to be made.

·       a detailed list of home ownership assistance programs, i.e. Family
Benefit capitalization, Housing Corp loans, Maori Affairs loans that were
available to individuals and families from 1945 (after WWII) to 1992 (when
they were all abolished)

 

I am extending the timeframe for providing you with a response by 20
working days under section 15A(1)(b) of the Act as “consultations
necessary to make a decision on the request are such that a proper
response to the request cannot reasonably be made within the original time
limit.”

 

A response is now due by 27 May 2021. I will endeavour to provide a
decision on your request as soon as possible within this timeframe.
