Current number of unallocated Skilled Residence applications lodged between August 2020 and February 2021

Dear Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment,

I would like to request the number of applications that were lodged and are still unallocated in the non-priority skilled residency queue for every single day between 01 August 2019 and 29 February 2020.

Furthermore, I would like to know how many applications have been allocated from the non-priority (and priority - if applicable) skilled residency queue on a weekly basis between 01 November 2020 to the date you respond.

In addition please advise the current number of officers processing the skilled residency queue.

On behalf of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment I
acknowledge your email of 11^th February 2021 requesting under the
Official Information Act 1982 (the Act), the following:

 

I would like to request the number of applications that were lodged and
are still unallocated in the non-priority skilled residency queue for
every single day between 01 August 2019 and 29 February 2020. Furthermore,
I would like to know how many applications have been allocated from the
non-priority (and priority - if applicable) skilled residency queue on a
weekly basis between 01 November 2020 to the date you respond. In addition

residency queue.

 

Your request is being processed in accordance with the Act and a response
will be sent to you in due course.

 

Please note, due to ongoing COVID-19 response work, requests are currently
being triaged and those relating to Covid-19 processed as a priority.
Remaining requests are being assessed as per the Ombudsman’s guidance
(which can be found here:

and processed accordingly.
