Dear Satish

Thank you for your request for information under the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA). I am writing to clarify your request.

Immigration New Zealand does not have a specific Skilled Migrant Category (SMC) queue, but rather one for all skilled residence applications. This includes SMC and Residence from Work (RfW) applications.

Can you confirm whether you would like:
- the number of SMC onshore applications submitted before 17 August 2019 that are in the queue awaiting allocation to a case officer with monthly breakdown, OR
- the number of skilled residence onshore applications submitted before 17 August 2019 that are in the queue awaiting allocation to a case officer with monthly breakdown?

Please note that any clarification or amendment of an OIA request is considered to be a new request for the purpose of calculating the maximum statutory timeframe for response in line with section 15(1AA) of the OIA.

If you have any questions please contact me.

Kind regards

Anna McLachlan (she/her)

I understand It's one queue, so whatever is easier and faster for you to provide me details with would work (be it SMC alone or SMC+RFW with monthly breakdown before 17th Auh 2019).
