In response to your OIA request dated 7 January 2014 the New Zealand
Antarctic Institute has no documentation or information regarding or
making reference to:

 

-        Extra-terrestrials

-        Alien life forms and/or artefacts and/or communication

-        Unidentified Flying or Submerged objects 

 

Note that we do use the term "alien species" or "non-native species" in a
biosecurity context to refer to any terrestrial species that have been
introduced to Antarctica from another continent.
