Dear
Thank you very much for your email to the Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern.
Your kind words are appreciated very much.
I'm really sorry, but as you can appreciate, Jacinda is focused on the Government's response to the Covid-19 pandemic so isn't able to answer your questions personally at the moment, I'm afraid. She has done some media interviews recently which may be helpful, and which you would be able to find on the internet.
Thank you for writing and for your understanding
Best wishes
Dinah

Dear ESD,
So obviously you found a substantial amount of information to lead to this idea there is a substantial amount of collation and research to be done. How about you send information of the volume by year for the last 3 years so I can get an idea of how much govt has been colluding with Gates and co.

Thank you Greg, good to have support. I have found the ombudsman to be a dud organisation on many occasions, they are simply there to stall, delay, distract, weasel, grease and assist govt in covering their shit up. When I have built up a bit more reserves I'll have another go at them.

Hello, was there a similar or successful similar request relating to contact between Ardern and the (B&M) Gates Foundation? I have sighted the results which detail calls between the same, but cannot locate it any more. Thank you. Robin

In the response to T Benseman in the redacted documents;
Under the heading; " New Zealand Response and Impact of COVID-19 on Women" clause 10 "...For example New Zealand alongside [redacted s6(a)] coordinated a joint statement welcoming the UN Secretary Generals call...
The s6(a) redacted reference appears to be the 6 others who co-supported the UN Secretary General's statement which are identified on the MFAT website;
https://www.mfat.govt.nz/en/media-and-re...
The 6 others being; "Argentina, European Union, Mongolia, Morocco, Namibia, Turkey"
Why does the OIA response preclude under s6 "Comprehensive Grounds for Withholding Information" information that is obviously public and self evidently not of any consequence to "6(a): to avoid prejudicing the security or defence of New Zealand or the international relations of the New Zealand Government?"
Which begs the question about what else is incorrectly, improperly or illegally withheld in the response, both the redacted information, the totally withheld information, and any other information held by the government relevant to T. Benseman's request since August 2019, however, not disclosed in this release and answer?
Why is the Government's relations with Bill and Melinda Gates and their Foundation, such a secretive matter, when it relates to public health?
Surely public health is a public interest matter, which precludes the use of Sec 9 altogether in respect to redactions.
I suggest that T Benseman, exercises his rights under section 28(3) of the OIA to seek a review of this response by the Ombudsman
