Dear J Henare,
I refer to your request of 21 July 2020, at 3:56pm, for information about 2019 MAPAS admissions to the University's MBChB programme. Your requests for the "highest (average) GPA accepted" and the "lowest (average) GPA accepted" are unclear. The "average" or mean is a single value; there is no highest average or lowest average, just the average. Please clarify what statistical information you wish to request under the Official Information Act.
The other information requested is as follows. For 2019, there were 63 available seats under the MAPAS admissions category for the MBChB programme, and 55 of those seats were filled.
Yours sincerely,
Rebecca Ewert
University of Auckland
