I understand the information you are seeking is as follows: ‘What was the
cost of engaging Hanover Research to look at the feedback received on the
College of Sciences Discussion Document, synthesise it and present it, in
the report distributed to staff on Tuesday 30 June, 2020.’
In response to your query I can confirm that the College of Sciences did
not pay for this research report. The report was a service provided as
part of the University’s subscription for research services with Hanover
Research Council LLC. The service agreement covers a number of years and
the fee paid for the subscription is confidential and withheld in
accordance with sections 9(2)(ba); as the information is subject to an
obligation of confidence, and 9(2)(b)(ii); as the release of the
information would be likely unreasonably to prejudice the commercial
position of the contracting party.
