Thank you for your below request.

‘Can you please send a list of current monitoring projects in Raukumara and any planned projects you have in the pipeline as part of or running alongside Te Raukumara Pae Maunga Project.’

NIWA currently have no monitoring projects in place in Raukumara. CarbonWatch NZ has objectives to observe carbon dioxide and meteorology at two sites within Raukumara. This project work is independent, but aligned with partners in the Te Raukumara Pae Maunga Project, with a goal of understanding carbon exchange in Raukumara, and involvement alongside iwi in understanding the climate impacts on the area.
