Decision making process for gaining course accreditation

Chris Allen made this Official Information request to New Zealand Qualifications Authority

Response to this request is long overdue. By law New Zealand Qualifications Authority should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.

From: Chris Allen

Dear New Zealand Qualifications Authority,

I am requesting information in regards to the course entitled “Diploma in Acupuncture – Traditional Chinese Medicine”, with the reference number “PC9704”. The URL for the course is stated directly below:

http://www.nzqa.govt.nz/nzqf/search/view...

For the course, could you please supply me with a copy of all the work that went into the decision making process to award the course with accreditation. I am interested in how each decision was made, who made the decision, what factors were considered, who was consulted and what changes, if any, were made to the course before accreditation was awarded.

I confirm that I am a New Zealand citizen and I currently live in New Zealand, making me eligible to make requests under the Official Information Act.

Kind regards,
Chris Allen
