Thanks for your response. Communication and the free exchange of facts and information is a key element in a democracy - so I thank you for responding to the fullest extent possible, and hopefully reviewing the linked information.

I hope that drawing these scientists to your attention via this OIA might assist GNS to make an assessment on:
A) Whether the "science is settled" and
B) The benefit to New Zealand's prosperity that might come from validating some of the core assumptions underlying the climate models that are causing (potentially un-needed) concern.
C) How GNS can best contribute with its scientific expertise and resources to validating, invalidating or complementing/extending the work of these scientists.... for the benefit of New Zealand.

What to do Next?
1) One thing that GNS can do is download the NOAA Radiosonde dataset and replicate the Connolly study. This will give your scientists first hand visibility of how their work might be impacted by the Connolly findings - either enhancing it ... or reducing the need for it relative to other priorities.

Christopher Monckton has tied the Nikolov/Zeller 2017, Connolly Radiosonde 2019 study and Patrick Frank 2019 paper into an overview of why we are at an inflection point regarding the role of CO2 in the warming we see.
