The request was successful.

From: john luke

Dear Department of Conservation,

I noted there is a 2019 Conservation Boards Appointments

https://www.beehive.govt.nz/sites/defaul...

However, the department's website did not reflect such new appointments, can you please let me know when the website will be update

https://www.doc.govt.nz/about-us/statuto...

Also, for easy public recognition, would you put a "head shot" photo for each members on the website as well?

Yours faithfully,

john luke

From: Rick McGovern-Wilson
Department of Conservation

Dear John

Thank you for your request. It is not seen as an OIA request, but a
request for a task to be undertaken.

I can advise that I have spoken to the Department’s web team and they will
undertake the updating of the website when they have the staff resources
to do so, but probably within the next 2-3 weeks – especially as the
appointments have only just been announced.

I can also advise that 2 years ago a decision was made not to include
photos on the website, as many members objected, so it was considered
better to have none, rather than only 2-3 per board.

Regards

Rick

Dear Rick McGovern-Wilson,

Thank you Dr Rick, given it's 2 years ago, I think it would be a good time to do another survey, things might change, just my 2 cents.

Yours sincerely,

john luke
