Ethnicity data of State sector boards and committees

john luke made this Official Information request to Jenny Salesa

The request was successful.

From: john luke

Dear Jenny Salesa,

I understand that you have said in your statement below:

https://www.beehive.govt.nz/release/ethn...

"The Office of Ethnic Communities (OEC) will conduct a voluntary survey of ethnic representation on State sector boards and committees from 3 October 2018 to 31 October 2018. This will enable OEC to collect baseline data to help strengthen future monitoring and reporting of ethnic diversity across State sector boards and committees. OEC will report back on progress in early 2019."

I would like to know has OEC report back on the progress yet? Have you received any memo/email/term of reference from OEC regards to this matter? If not, when do you expect to receive such information from OEC?

Yours faithfully,

john luke
