Tçnâ koe Jonathan,

We have undertaken an initial scoping search for your request and have
identified that your current request scope would require substantial
manual collation and research, such that the Department would be likely to
refuse on grounds of section 18(f).  More than 10,000 documents would need
to be searched in order to be able to identify information that may fall
within your current request scope.   We are therefore contacting you to
invite you to refine your request further, to enable it to be answered by
the Department.

We will tell you about how the Department ensures that working conditions
in buildings that it occupies are safe and appropriate.

In regard to all other elements of your request – please could you provide
more detail about the specific property or health and safety issues you
want to know more about, to help us identify these.  If you are able to
give particular keywords for search and dates/date-ranges, this would be
very helpful.

Please note that we may need to return to you to refine further if a
search of your keywords or dates/date-ranges still identifies a
substantial volume of information.
