Please include all majors currently or recently offered, including those with low enrolment numbers or that are being phased out.
This should include subjects across all faculties, including:
Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (including the languages taught at the University such as Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, Te Reo)
Māori and Indigenous Studies and Te Reo Māori
Creative Industries (e.g., Screen & Media, Theatre Studies, Music)
Sciences (including Environmental and Earth Sciences)
Mathematics and Statistics
Engineering and Technology
Business and Management
Education and Teaching programmes

Health-related programmes (e.g., Nursing, Health Science, Counselling, Sport & Exercise Science)
For each subject, please provide a breakdown of the total enrolled students by:
Ethnicity (using standard Stats NZ Level 1 and Level 2 categories)
Age band (using the University’s standard reporting age bands)
Gender (as recorded)
Domestic vs International student status
For domestic students: region of residence (or region of prior secondary school, if that is the standard reporting field)
Year level / stage of study (e.g., first-year, second-year, third-year, honours/postgraduate), using the University’s standard classification
Additionally, for each subject, please indicate:
How many students are enrolled in the subject as their primary major
How many are enrolled in the subject as an additional major (double major)
How many are enrolled in the subject as a minor
(Please use the University’s standard enrolment coding or categorisation for majors/minors.)
I am requesting aggregated data only, not individual-level records. If this data is already produced for internal reporting, MOE/TEC returns, or institutional dashboards, please provide the closest existing dataset.
If possible, please provide the data in CSV or Excel format.
If any part of this request would require substantial manual collation, please let me know what subset or format can be provided most readily and I am happy to refine the scope.
Best regards,
Andrew Lin
