Dear Thames-Coromandel District Council,
Please provide copies of all documents held by Thames–Coromandel District Council since 1889 that concern or connect with:
Harataunga Land titles SA603/296, SA20B/844, SA39B/1000 and all predecessor or successor titles.
All resolutions, minutes, officer reports, and committee papers invoking or relying on the Public Works Act, including road/reserve declarations, takings, or road stoppings.
All resource and subdivision consents, consent notices, engineering approvals, and survey instructions relating to those titles.
Any documents or correspondence referencing 4 Vernon Street, Papakura or the Papakura Borough Council special loan resolution of 23 July 1968.
All correspondence, agreements, or memoranda with LINZ, Māori Land Court, Ministers, or the Hauraki Māori Trust Board relating to the above.
Any rates, charges, or development contribution records applied to those parcels or unit titles.
Include all related index maps, registers, and audit logs.“All predecessor-council archives held by or for TCDC relating to the area (e.g., Coromandel/Thames County, Road Boards): minutes, engineer’s reports, road formation/realignment files, compensation ledgers.
All documents concerning the Goudie family and Papa Aroha: creation/use of unit titles, the legal effect of those units (what they evidence/reference/secure), and any licences/leases tied to the holiday camp/park.
Any file explaining why “Papa Aroha camp” is referenced in Papakura Gazette notices, including inter-council or Ministerial liaison.
Include all related index maps, registers, and audit logs.”
All council minutes, committee papers, correspondence, or meeting notes naming any member of the Hovell, Potae, or Thwaites families.
Any records showing the relationship, dealings, or correspondence between the Council (or predecessor local authorities) and any member of the Hovell family.
