YOUR REQUEST FOR INFORMATION UNDER THE OFFICIAL INFORMATION ACT 1982 (OIA)
1. We refer to your email dated 23 November 2018 requesting information, and to your email dated 6
December 2018 which modified the request so that it only covered:
“…all information disclosed to the FMA by Melissa Bowen relating to BNZ, Smartpay, Swipe HQ and
now also MINT WIRELESS (or Mint Payments)”.
2. The Financial Markets Authority does not hold any information that meets that description.
Consequently, we are refusing your request under section 18(e) of the Official information Act 1982.
Section 18(e) allows requests for information to be refused in cases where the information involved
does not exist or, despite reasonable efforts to locate it, cannot be found.
