Purpose-built area where the footpath has a cycleway along the edge of it and then there's a gap for
parked cars and then the operating lanes on the road. Pedestrian has moved rapidly around the

front of her vehicle to cross onto the footpath. The cyclist hasn't seen her because of the volume of
her car. The cyclist was travelling at 25 km/h and had less than one metres warning. They have
collided heavily. Both parties suffered serious injury.

I was cycling along the cycle way which is situated between the park cars and the footpath

heading south on the parade. I was doing between 20 and 25 km an hour. As I got level with the
black car the woman just ran round the front of it in front of me. I only saw her like a metre before
we collided and didnt even have time to grab the brakes.

around the front of the car and was stuck by the cyclist who was travelling in cycle lane situated to
the left of the parked vehicles.
