Please see attached a copy of an email dated 26 August 2016 from Rhys McAveley for ‘…copy’s of 
any documentation including tenure review, conservation area access negotiation, to the  
Ben Oahu conservation area that have been made with Ferintosh station and particularly  
Mrs Marion Seymour and any other party’s that may have had involvement.’ 
 
The requestor subsequently confirmed to Jeremy Severinsen on 30 August 2016 that his request 
relates to Ruataniwha Conservation Park rather than the Ben Ohau Conservation Area, and on  
5 September 2016 that it is for information relating to: 
 
1.  Access negotiation between DOC and Ferintosh Station to Ruataniwha Conservation Park. 
2.  Access negotiations to Ruataniwha Conservation Park as a part of the tenure review of 
Ferintosh Station. 
 
I am transferring part 2 of the request to your Department, under section 14 of the  
Official Information Act 1982.  I have advised the requester that I am transferring this  
part of the request, and attach a copy of that letter for your information.
