Public Statement
Our proposed initiative will empower rangatahi to thrive by preparing them for successful transitions into high-value careers in STEMM
(Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Matauranga). The Puhoro STEMM Academy, with its proven track record of rangatahi
success, seeks to further advance Maori development by implementing this initiative. Our approach emphasises whanau engagement as key
educational motivators of their children's success and this initiative pragmatically helps rangatahi to navigate post-school pathways with
confidence and clarity.
