Thank you for your request of 9 April 2026 to Fire and Emergency New Zealand requesting the 
following information in relation to 49 Saxton Road West under the Official Information Act 1982 
(OIA): 
 
•  There has recently been capacity restrictions placed on 49 Saxton Road West. 
I would like to understand the background to these restrictions, the specific requirements 
and potential remedial actions. Including all related documents (eg emails and internal 
communications). 
 
Please find attached, as the Appendix to this response, the correspondence we hold between Fire 
and Emergency and Coman Holdings Limited regarding the capacity restrictions.  
 
Some information has been withheld under section 9(2)(a) of the OIA, to protect the privacy of 
natural persons. Some information contained within the Appendix falls outside the scope of your 
request. Where this occurs, the information has been redacted and labelled out of scope.
