I refer to your request for information dated 30 March 2026 regarding communications and minutes 
on discussions regarding changes to the planned Auckland passenger rail shutdown from March 
2026 onwards. 
 
Please find attached the information we hold. Some information such as names and contact details 
are withheld under section 7(2)(a) of the LGOIMA to protect the privacy of natural persons, 
including that of deceased natural persons.  
 
Should you believe that we have not dealt with your request appropriately, you are able to make a 
complaint to the Office of the Ombudsman in accordance with section 27(3) of the LGOIMA Act 
and seek an investigation and review regarding this matter.
