Thank you for your email on 21 March 2026 asking Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora for the 
following under the Official Information Act 1982 (the OIA): 
I am requesting any health complaints relating to contamination, smell, health concerns, 
and water related issues including ecoli arising from the Ledger Avenue Storm water and 
sewerage pump, which services a large area of Motueka, Tasman. These complaints may 
have come from residents from Ledger Avenue, Marion Place, Goodman Drive, McCarthy 
Crescent, and Kingston Place. Please provide a record of these complaints between 2011-
2026.

Please refer to Appendix 1 with the documents in scope of your request. 
Some information within these documents has been withheld under section 9(2)(a) to protect 
privacy. In making this decision, we have considered the public interest in release and determined 
that it does not outweigh the need to withhold on this occasion.
