Biography 
Laurence Lee CMG, International President 
Laurence Lee CMG is the International President of Palantir  1982
Technologies, specialising in defence and national security. He 
previously served as Second Permanent Secretary at the UK 
Ministry of Defence (2021–2023), overseeing digital transformation, 
Act 
cyber policy, space, science and technology, innovation, strategy, 
and major industry partnerships. Before joining their  Ministry of 
Defence, he held senior leadership roles at the British Secret 
Intelligence Service (MI6), including Director General Operations 
and Director General Strategy, with earlier postings focused on 
counter‑terrorism, hostile state activity, and international security. 
His career spans operational and policy work, overseas service, and extensive experience 
in finance, strategic planning, and organisational change.
