OFFICIAL INFORMATION REQUEST 
I refer to your official information request of 17 January 2026 regarding total ratepayer-
funded expenditure on food and catering for the financial year ending 30 June 2025, 
excluding routine workplace provisions of tea, coffee, and milk supplied for staff. 
Decision 
Council has considered your request under the Local Government Official Information and 
Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA) and has decided to grant your request in ful . 
For the financial year ending 30 June 2025, the total amount of ratepayer-funded 
expenditure incurred by Council on food and catering (excluding routine tea, coffee, and 
milk supplied for staff) was: $71,250.00 
This figure includes food provided free of charge at meetings, workshops, functions, hui, and 
Council-run or Council-funded events, as requested.
