Thank you for your email of 8 December 2025, requesting information about resource
consents and assessments for 20 Shortland Street (Lot 1 DP 138464). The specific details of
your request and our response are below.
“I am requesting any granted (currently applicable) resource consents, current resource
consent conditions, and any associated architectural and urban design assessments for
20 Shortland Street (Lot 1 DP 138464). Further, I request correspondence (if any) from
the owner (Waihapu Limited) on future land use and future development of the site.”
Following our email of 18 December 2025 advising you to purchase the property file, our
Central Resource Consents Unit has provided the following information in the attachments:
• Current consent approvals
• Pre-applications notes and documents from 2018, the last correspondence with the
landowner regarding future development changes
