Q5 To enable the University to continue to deliver its current range of services, it is proposed
that the Student Services Levy be increased by a maximum 4%. This would see the fee
increase from $9.24 per point to $9.61 per point, meaning for a typical undergraduate student
taking eight papers the maximum proposed fee to be charged would be $1,153.20 in 2026.

What is your view on the proposed increase to the fee?
o I understand that costs are increasing and want to see services continue (1)
o I think cost increases need to be met by cutting back on the services offered rather than
passing on those cost increases to students (2)
o I would accept a higher fee if it enabled an expansion of services to students (3)
o Unsure/don't know (4)
Q7 Do you have any other comments you would like to make about the Student Services Fee
and how it is allocated?
