Could you please provide the pay rate for each committee, along with the names of current
members and their appointment terms (including start and end dates)?
Additionally, I would appreciate it if you could share a sample appointment letter issued to
members for each committee.

Membership to the National Kaitiaki Group
On behalf of the Associate Minister of Health, xxxxxxx I am writing to let you know that the term of
your appointment for the National Kaitiaki Group (NKG) has expired. In the near future a process
wil be undertaken to renew the Committee membership, and you wil be advised about this. The
final decision on membership wil be made by the Minister of Health (the Minister) and endorsed
by Cabinet.
I want to reassure you that the Ministry is committed to supporting the ongoing role of the NKG.
The Ministry wil work closely with the Group to affirm the valuable role of the NKG in protecting
Māori women’s cervical screening data and to identify how the NKG’s advisory expertise can better
inform use of cervical screening data for the benefit of Māori women.
