Thank you for your Official Information Act (OIA) request received on 8 October 2025 
regarding our response to your previous OIA request, reference 250988. You requested: 
“...would you please share the exposure limits, if you have a copy of those NZ 
standards please?” 
As advised in my previous correspondence the standard NZS 2772.1:1999: 
Radiofrequency fields –Maximum exposure levels – 3kHz to 300 GHz is  
available to purchase from the Standards New Zealand website. As this information is 
publicly available, I am refusing your request under section 18(d) of the OIA.  
I note that guidance provided by the Ombudsman on refusing requests under section 
18(d) of the OIA considers that publicly available information includes information which 
is available for purchase. This guidance can be found here:
