Thank you for your request under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) to the Ministry of 
Health - Manatū Hauora (the Ministry) on 14 August 2025. Information relating to some parts of 
your request is more closely connected to the functions of Health New Zealand – Te Whatu Ora. 
For this reason, I have transferred the fol owing part of your request to their agency: 
 
For covid infections in this time period, for each calendar year, I would ask the data be 
provided in the form:  
First:  
Covid infections, as raw data, divided by vaccination status (unvaccinated, partial, ful , 
boosted)  
Second:  
Covid infections, divided by two groups:  
-  Vaccinated individuals (any level of vaccination) as a percentage of total vaccinated 
population   
-   Unvaccinated individuals as a percentage of total unvaccinated population   
         And thirdly,  
-  Vaccinated infections as a percentage of the total infections 
-  Unvaccinated infections as a percentage of total infections”.
