I refer to your official information request dated 4 August 2025. 
 
Part of the information you have requested is enclosed.   
1./ Has Pauline Welch moved to another role within Ruapehu District Council?   No 
2./ Has Pauline Welch left Council employment?   Yes 
3./ If she has left the organisation, was her departure due to a resignation, or was it the result of 
disciplinary action or another process?   Pauline resigned. 
However, we have decided to refuse your request for information which relates to:  
4./  If  applicable,  please  provide  the  reason(s)  for  her  departure,  including  any  documentation  or 
summary relating to the conclusion of her employment (with appropriate consideration for privacy 
and confidentiality under LGOIMA provisions). 
5./ Was any accommodation supplement or housing provision included as part of Pauline Welch’s 
employment contract? No. 
The information you are requesting is being withheld under section 7(2)(a) of the LGOIMA, to protect 
the privacy of a natural person.
