Official Information Act (OIA) request
The Health Research Council of New Zealand (HRC) received an email from you on 24 July
2025 requesting the following information under the Official Information Act, 1982 (OIA):
1. Please provide all communications, including letters, emails, texts, and WhatsApp
messages between the Chair of the Council and the CEO of the HRC regarding the
delay in announcing results of the 2025 programme and project rounds.
2. Further please provide the same for the delay in announcing the opening of the 2026
project round.
The HRC has identified we have no information to provide. There has been no
communication by letter, email, text or WhatsApp message between the HRC Council Chair
and Chief Executive regarding the delay in announcing results of the 2025 programme and
project rounds or the opening of the 2026 Project round.
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this decision.
