Thank you for your Official Information Act (Act) request received by the Department of Internal 
Affairs (Department) on 15 September 2029 by way of transfer pursuant to section 14(b) of the 
Act from the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF). This section provides that the information, or 
some of the information, to which the request relates is believed by the person dealing with the 
request to be more closely connected with the functions of another department.     
You requested –  
There are currently 5 boards with a total of 24 ministerial appointed members. Could you 
please provide the following information: 

1.  The name of each board 
2.  The terms of reference for each board 
3.  Are there any boards where member terms have expired this year? 
4.  If so, please provide the name of the board(s) and the number of members whose 
terms have expired. 
 
In response to your request, I can provide you with the following information in relation to the

I can confirm for the year ending 30 June 2025, that no terms have expired. Therefore, I must 
refuse this portion of your request pursuant to section 18(e) of the Act; the document alleged to

cannot be found.
