We have considered your request under the Official Information Act 1982.
Question 1 The recruitment and appointment of a Chief Advisor at HDC occurred following an
organisational change proposal process that took place from 2 October to 13
November 2024.
Prior to finalising its decision, HDC consulted and considered feedback on the
proposal. All restructure and recruitment decisions take account of HDC’s legal and
financial obligations to prudently manage our resources. HDC’s review of 13
November 2024 established the following:
